Behind the spa gardens is the Thuringian Forest, which has the longest mountian ridge hiking trail in Germany, the Rennsteig. Art lovers will also have lots to see and visit. The Wartburg castle in Eisenach as well as the historical towns of Meiningen, Erfurt and Weimar are all easy to reach by car. |
